creepy stuff

I thought people didn't make these kind of flashes anymore. You got me. Anyways, I was a little disappointed at the sudden brief ending when I thought I was going to hear the ending of the story. Would've been more real if you had used your own voice rather than that robot voice. Thanks for the scary tale.

Zephret responds:

no worries... more genuinely scary tales are coming soon.

good

What is a Scally? I haven't seen the other episodes, so I don't know. Anyways, I thought this was an interesting flash with a well thought out story, the tanks were good, and you did a good job at making that war scene, but I don't know why those guys are fighting for.

Flecky responds:

They are fighting for precisely nothing. Oh, except their shitty trends.

cool

This is a nice continuation of the story of Dawn of Teh Clocks. I hope you see the movie soon, if you haven't already, so then you could show us some more scenes. I don't have time right now to go see the actual movie, but I'd enjoy watching some parody scenes that you do, so keep em coming. :)

Old-Tobunshi responds:

Thanks, and no, i'll be seeing the movie very soon though. Otherwise i guess i'll just have to parody off the old crappy movie ^_~
P.S. I hate illwillpress! That's right, i saw him in your favorite users list!

good

The sky background looked cool, and so were the different landscape scenes with the mountains and crystals. This was kind of a short episode, mainly to show them traveling from one place to another. Keep up the good work. Hope to see lots more episodes of the Vortext in the future!

good

A good trailer which gives a brief summary of what the series is about. I liked how you showed different images from the different images of what's happened so far. The music was also nice. Keep up the good work. :)

good

Good anti smoking message told in a very clever little story. Good job at drawing a well detailed city with lots of different people. I can tell you put lots of effort into this. Keep up the good work!!

AligatorHead responds:

thanks

okay

Okay it was funny, the way the dad was freaking out over his son wanting to give food to someone who was hungry. Interesting that you're touching on a religious topic. Would've been more interesting if you extended or went more in depth with that, to explain more about buddhism itself, or was it's point merely to make a joke out of the dad?

StealthZeus responds:

NOOOOO you got it all wrong. The son was asking a stranger for food because thats what buddha did... for some reason, and his dad was spazing out cause he was rich and he could just bring his son home and feed him. I couldn't extent it cause.... im lazy. thansk for the review.

excellent

I just saw the "Down with Love" movie and now that I've seen it, I think I appreciate this flash more and understand it better now that I know the story and characters this flash is based on. The music and the art style really gave it a 60's feel. When I saw "Down with Love", it reminded me of the movie "Sex and the Single Girl"(1964)...which is basically about a magazine writer(TonyCurtis) who tries to seduce a sexologist/bookwriter(NatalieWood) under a false identity. Anyways, I really liked your flash interpretation of the story, it was enjoyable to watch, excellent graphics/animation, the characters were funny, and it all tied in with the music. I was really impressed by this flash. It really stands out. :)

BADMAN responds:

Yeah... it kind of works better after you've seen the movie. Which is why I don't take the bad reviews so hard. It's really the result of like 8 weeks of constant problem solving. I'm relieved that people seem to like it. Thanks Vi

great

This is my favorite "Thats my Saddam" movie so far. You guys both did a good on this, mixing live people with the cartoon Saddam character. A pretty well played out story, which you rarely get to see with live action ppl in flash. I hope you do more live action movies like this. I thought it was funny when that guy was dancing to the Three's Company song, it just added to the weirdness of the whole situation as he's getting beat up for no reason, except for our entertainment. Good work!!

mortimernova responds:

with how easy it is to do, i'm surprised more people don't do live action and animation... it's funny and simple... but i'm glad they don't... it gives us a chance to capitalize on something new-ish...

good

Good show. Ending on "That's our Saddam!" is catchy. Pretty funny when Saddam goes "I forgot!"

mortimernova responds:

that's what he does! he's a cute little fella sometimes...

My most recent flashes were "Call Light Resonse" in 2013 & "Ghost Motel 11" in 2005. I have been gone for awhile (2005-2011). Any posts or reviews made by "Violet-AIM" from 5-05 to 01-30-11 were not from me since somebody else got into my account
