cool

Great art. Although DBZ flashes are common and not too original, you put a lot of effort into drawing those characters and showing different body positions and movement. The fast paced Mortal Kombat song actually fit it pretty well, even though it would've been better suited for a mortal kombat flash. Could've used some more action, like an actual fight between two guys instead of just one guy there moving around. Anyways keep up the good work.

Thank you very much for your positive feedback and constructive criticism.

nice short

I agree, movies with uniquely drawn characters are way better than sticks anyday. I guess some people only have sticks to work with so that's what they do. But it's that the stick movies could have more variety than just being about fighting, shooting, kicking, etc. Like it's lacking some kind of story, and there are some stick movies which have a good story, which makes them a bit more enjoyable to watch. Wow, that stick had brains, LOL.

Livecorpse responds:

Yeah, there are some worthwhile sticks, but its a roatio of around 1/50, crappy being the 49/50 portion
thats cool ya liked the brain matter

interesting

Funny how you should mention the name livecorpse (as the person who helped u with the preloader), cause when I first saw the movie on the list, I first thought it was a livecorpse movie, since he has a lot of movies starting with the word "Sex". Now that I've watched it, I see it has nothing to do with sex at all. The movie was interesting, though I'm not really sure what's going on (looks like some kids fighting in robots), and it ends very suddenly.

Mightydein responds:

You did'nt miss a thing. I'am gonna make another episode to this flash that'll be hell the outta this one.

It's just that most flash series have a weak start anyway.

it's alright

A nice continuation of your previous multi player megaman 1. I liked the interactivity part in the middle, where you have to dodge those things, that part seemed improved from the first. Having sprite characters from megaman, mario, and street fighter seemed weird and confusing. I guess in the sprite movie world it works. I think I liked the 1st one better, from what I can remember.

Jaimyman responds:

i'm very glad you liked it ! Part 3 is in the making, well i made a little start on it, it's gonna be better then these parts. it's gonna have some sort of DVD Menu, just like Genryu's Blade. but if this episode finally reaches Daily Features , or even Frontpage, is really the question. you know what i like the most ? the part that you are a Female Flash animator who has submitted flashes herself !! :D

interesting

It's always nice when artists take the time to draw people (instead of just sticks, clocks, or whatever simple designed thing that is a character). Since this took you awhile to make, you must be very new to flash, and with time & practice, you'll just get better(faster). A good start for a movie, just make it longer and finish it up.

GHOSTDOG867 responds:

Well thanx, Yes i enjoy making charachters instead of sticks and such, but it is always harder to draw complicated scenes sucjh as drive-bys and robberys that will be featured in my next film.

nice short

Nicely done death scene, ended very abrupt and short. Would've been nice if there was a little chase scene just to give it more length or to show some kind of struggle before the inevitable death. Good animation and display of bloodshed. Keep it up!!

Livecorpse responds:

=oD

good

Looks interesting. Good well detailed graphics and good voices. Looking forward to the next part of the story. Not really sure what they want with that guy, he seems to be an innocent bystander that just got involved in something strange and disturbing. Hopefully we'll find out later.

americawasted responds:

Thanks.
He is.
You will.

different

Wow, this was something different from you (I think).... instead of senseless violence, it has to do with suicide and love. Kind of moving, it would probably be more moving or sad if you put that song "shattered dreams" (or shattered something, forgot exactly what it's called). I just couldn't feel sad with that upbeat Offspring music. And if you really want to make someone cry, really drag it out, like show how nice and lovely she once was when she was alive, before she was this bloody mess. I don't know if you were going for a "sad" thing or just a show-n-tell thing or whatever, but making ppl here cry always seems to get ppl to vote 5's or whatnot. Just look at Mad World (and other suicide-like flashes).... ppl can relate to suicide so much and they love to feel so sad because it relates to the dark side or depression that most ppl have experienced at least once in their lives. Oh, by the way, is this based on a true story (like of yourself), or is it just pure fiction?

Livecorpse responds:

Just been dwelling in the past a bit lately, feelin a little down.
Thats cool ya enjoyed the flash.
I did have a pretty close friend of mine slice her wrists a couple of years back. Should have payed more attention to the warning signs...

it's ok

Good song and the animation fit to it, but I think this could've been better if it wasn't just dancing sprites, and if it were something that was handdrawn art. No offense to sprite movies, it was okay, but it just doesn't look like there was that much effort in this movie. I think I've seen another of your music videos before (which was animated quite similarly).

chunkymonkey responds:

Well I'm gonna make music videos for awhile because it suits my taste. I can't find any better sprites than these so I'm stuck wid em. So you'll see many more movies wid dese sprites. Sorry.

interesting

Very good point made. Your words (author's comments) speak a lot louder than this flash. The flash could've been longer, since this was way too short. I didn't realize that the CEO's of other countries weren't as bad as the ones in America. It's pretty sad to see people struggling in poverty and living on minimum wage, when there are people living luxuriously with their excess wealth. Survival of the fittest isn't fair, but it could be worse, like in communism, where your extra effort doesn't benefit your situation. But I could be wrong, since I wouldn't know what it's like to live in a communist society. Aside from that, at least in a democracy, there are more freedoms and choices that we have here, which we can take for granted, where other countries have more restrictions and less rights. I don't think there's a perfect governement that exists, but we can settle for the closest thing that works.

NewEvolution responds:

Short was actually the idea. I wanted something brief and to the point, that told a message that would stick with you...kind of like a television commercial. As for communism, what you're talking about is Communism, capital "C"...the distinct style of government formerly practiced in the USSR, but not communism as a whole. As for "extra effort doesn't benefit your situation" I'd again point to the CEOs. I'm sure the welder putting in a 60 hour work week shows more "effort" than the CEO who's putting in 20 hours behind a desk and making roughly 420x more money. And yes, I suppose we have choices and rights...the choice between spending thousands a year on health insurance or your entire life's savings for a hospital visit; the choice between owning the trendiest clothes or being a social outcast; the right to elect anyone for president, as long as they're corporately sponsored; the right to speak freely and then be sent to prison without trial or counsel under the Patriot Acts; the right to equal protection under the law unless you're of Arab or Muslim descent. We claim to be the freest nation in the world while oppressing our poor like no other civilized nation and whittling away at freedoms and human rights. We are the ideal government for capitalism and corporations, but not for the average American.

My most recent flashes were "Call Light Resonse" in 2013 & "Ghost Motel 11" in 2005. I have been gone for awhile (2005-2011). Any posts or reviews made by "Violet-AIM" from 5-05 to 01-30-11 were not from me since somebody else got into my account
