not bad

This is actually a little better than most skater movies since it's not just skating...there's an explosion, rocket, etc. Just so you know, I'm not particularly a fan of skateboard movies. This movie could be better with better graphics since the skater guy looked kinda plain, but I did like when the skateboard flipped in the air, that was a nice move. Good effort here.

Hey that's a pretty neat logo....that mechanical laser thing that was carving stuff was well drawn, and the shadow you put there made it look like it was floating in the air. This looks like a good intro to a movie, (you can use it as your logo or signature), but it needs more to be considered a "movie". Nice job anyways.

Thanks for your good words and you're right, this doesn't belong on Newgrounds. I just wanted the little drop down box under the vote thingy. Considering my next flash movie will take a grip of time, I threw up something I had already done. Plus I was pretty proud of this when I made it =P.

At first I didn't notice the mice in the lightbulb, it wasn't that obvious since you just outlined them. Nice joke, I'd like to see something longer from you though. :)

hmm...

Too short, but I like the point you made about how stick figure movies suck. Of course, it would be good if you were to show us more of your skills (how you're not like them) by doing a movie with just good graphics/animation instead of just a flash mocking stick people. That ninja or samurai character that you had was nice, but would've done better in a different setting, like with a scene/a story to go with it, as well as other well-drawn characters.

Personally, I've always liked your flash animations, but now I think of you differently...basically from what you wrote in your author's comments. So, you think you are better than all of us "amateur" animators, now that you call yourself a "pro" and are getting paid for it. Congratulations on getting an art job, I'm sure you impressed those corporate people with your FUG guy. You think that you are so above newgrounds, you with your "holier than thou" attitude. Believe me, there are people bigger than you, who have animations on the net for people to see for free....don't be telling us that now you're getting paid, you want us to pay to see your stuff...yeah right??!! You're getting a little big for your britches, pal. Even professional animators like Tromaville send stuff to NG, and they don't go about flaunting and being a pompous arrogant ass. Okay, well if you truly believe yourself a professional, it is nice that you go on to other places, since you'll be competing with people more at your own level, such as at icebox.com. Okay, congrats greytown, hope you have a long prosperous art career or whatever.

[Fish Tales: Vulgarity]

this is okay

but you can do a hell of a lot better than this, and you KNOW it. This movie wasn't that interesting, basically because it took place in only ONE scene, just a bunch of fish hanging around talking about how they got to be vulgar cartoons....well, if you want to be vulgar like "South Park", having a few cuss words at the end, just WON'T do it.....they are vulgar cause of EVERYTHING they do, everything from Cartman eating Beefcake, to one of the kiddies throwing up, to a prostitue giving herpes to the whole town as part of the kiddie's revenge...so as you can see, the cussing is just one part of the meaning of "vulgarity"....it involves being extremely sexual/violent, etc, I'm sure you don't need me to spend any more time in defining the word "vulgarity"...you get what I mean, right? On a light note, I did think your previous Fish Tale was better, good graphics, animation, in your other one, okay? Just do better next time, mmmmmm, kay??

[Oratory Hell:Great Escape]

This is good

Nice parody of your school....cool voices (doing voices always takes talent and some acting), the drawings were alright, could be better though. The death scene where the guy kills the student for smoking, could have been smoother. Pretty good for a show put on by one man (unlike some professional studios who make flash). Looking forward to seeing more. Just curious, do a lot of English students go to boarding school or single sex schools? From what I heard from people and what I've seen on movies, it's a pretty common occurrence in England, it kinda makes me glad that I'm here, where boarding schools are more rare, and schools are nearly all co-ed.

Unfortunately boarding schools are all to common in England - not that many people go to them, but there are a lot of foreign people in them (like me!)

It looks like you got a good start with the plot, kinda curious how it will continue, the drawings were alright, and good use of imagination (cause of the story), it seems to have a touch of anime in it (not too fond of anime), like with those quick scenes with lines flying by, and some other stuff, which I won't get into detail about, anyways, nice job, keep up the good work!

hmm...

Well, this thing seems to keep looping over and over, like there's never an end...the music is interesting, and I'd say that the music and animation went together nicely....I'm not a big fan of happyland...but it's nice abstract flash (plotless), what I liked about it was the odd creatures that bounced back and forth on their legs, making fire, but having them do it over and over got kind of monotonous....Okay, this continuous looping thing is getting annoying, will you put an end to it, and give us an opportunity to choose replay or not to?? Your drawings were decent, better than a lot I've seen.

That was a very original alien parody, "coming in peas" (peace?), anyways, that was short and sweet, keep up the good, clever work. :)
